The same problems I mentioned regarding the previous versions are still present. Thankfully, I only spent $17 on this due to the MUPromo, but I have to start trying out all the others again. What is the purpose of even having the feature for additional pasteboards? eless to have other pasteboard if you can't manage the clips in them.

Along the additional pasteboard lines, you can only move clips from the main pasteboard into additional pasteboards.you can't move clips from a secondary pasteboard anywhere. If it lets you add additional pasteboards, why sould it preclude you from managing the clips stored in them? I added a pasteboard named BOILEPLATES in which I could save things I have to use often, but it's useless if I can't edit these clips, which is only possible in the main pasteboard.Ģ. Allow you to delete clips stored in any other pasteboard other than the main one. I still think it's one of the top three clipboard enhancers, but it will NOT:ġ. Now that I've already purchased PTHPasteboard Pro, I have found a couple of things that would have stopped me from purchasing it, had I discovered them earlier. In case they're as dead as I think they are, I just installed Clipboard Evolved. So, tomorrow I'm going to call them, and after crapping on them for ignoring my emails, maybe I'll discover WTF went wrong with PTHPasteboard 4.4.1. So, I wrote an email to customer support, and then another, and then another - each one automatically addressed in my own email client (Entourage) when I clicked the "Contact Us" link on their customer support webpage. And every time I re-enter my items PTHPasteboard loses them again within a few days or weeks.

It was not in response to updating any system components, like the OS 10.5.7 update or a QuickTime update, it just suddenly lost all my clipboard items for no reason. A couple of months ago my pasteboard suddenly started to dump all of my items for no apparent reason. The app is starting to do funny things, and customer service doesn't seem to exist anymore. But something weird is happening to that company (PTHconsulting). I have enjoyed using PTHPasteboard for over a year, and it's become a staple in my computing repertoire. The only other clipboard utility that comes close to PTH, as I said before, is CopyPaste Pro, and it costs $30. If, on the other hand, you need what PTH offers, then $24 isn't an obscene price. If the excellent but basic JumpCut provides all you need, then go with it. If all you need is the functionality of one of these $15 dollar utilities, then by all means buy one of those. There are several clipboard managers available for around $15, and none of them offers the functionality that PTH does. The fact is that you get what you pay for. It's somewhat less visually appealing, but it's very functional and seems so far to be more stable.įrankly, I think it's a little silly to complain about the price of PTH.
CLIP BOARD OFFICE FOR MAC 2011 PRO
PTHPasteboard Pro is the only other clipboard manager that offers comparable functionality, and indeed offers some nice options that CopyPaste doesn't, such as the ability to create multiple custom pasteboards that you can edit to store frequently used snippets of text. I've been looking for a replacement for CopyPastePro after encountering a major stability issue with the latest version. I've been trying this app for a few days, and I'm impressed so far. Like others, I wish the price was more reasonable, but the basic functionality is so nice that about my only complaint is that now I have to investigate to see all the other things that PTHPasteboard Pro does so I make certain to get my money's worth. Today, I gave in and bought the Pro version.

I even tried to get along without a clipboard manager, but that turned out to be a massive pain in the neck. Unfortunately, by that time I'd been spoiled by PTHPasteboard. I was pissed, so I tried just about every other clipboard manager out there.

Then about two months ago, either I pressed the wrong button or something, but my free version went away and all I got was messages about upgrading to the Pro version for $$$. I looked at the features of the paid version, decided I didn't need them, and was happy not to have to pay the $25. I was instantly in heaven, and this was with the free version.

I had never tried a clipboard manager until I downloaded PTHPasteboard about a year ago.
